Phloor: Our Ukraine Relief Effort
Phloor would like to extend its thanks to anyone who has donated supplies for our Ukrainian Relief Effort, the response has been amazing! We would also like to say a huge word of thanks to our staff and volunteers who have worked tirelessly, sorting, packing, and loading all donations.
We have since loaded two full containers and are currently in the process of loading a further two containers. Unfortunately, due to the to the massive response received, we had to pause taking in donations due to storage issues. However, we are happy to announce, we are now accepting donations via our new prebooking system. Donation drops have an allocated slot based on availability.
To arrange a donation drop, please contact 0860607776. Our next drop date is Wednesday, 15th March 2022.
Please note any drops which have not been prebooked cannot be accommodated for.
Please ensure you follow the below guidelines when making a donation:
- Group similar items into labelled boxes. If possible, label boxes with a thick strip of masking tape and a permanent marker so the boxes can be reused and relabeled at the receiving warehouse.
- Boxes do not need to be sealed shut.
- Please fill boxes as much as possible as half full boxes are less structurally stable.

MEDICAL ITEMS:
First aid kits, medical tourniquet, bandages, gauze, first aid for burns, Calpol, medical scissors, painkillers (max strength), cleansing eye drops, antiseptic gels, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, isopropyl alcohol, wound healing creams, needles, syringes, emergency foil blankets, glucose tablets/solution, wheelchairs (children and adults), walkers, rollers, crutches. We have an extensive list of medical equipment required please get in contact if you can offer specialized medications/chemicals.
BABY ITEMS:
New blankets, nappies, baby powder, nappy rash cream, baby formula, new baby clothes
HYGIENE PRODUCTS:
Soap, deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrush, shampoo, combs/hair ties/brushes, wet wipes/baby wipes (preferably fragrance free), lotion/moisturizer, shower gel, bleach, disposable razors, shaving gel, incontinence pads, sanitary pads/tampons
SHELTER SORTING:
Sleeping bags, tarps, roll mats, blankets, exercise mats, new towels, new duvets and pillows
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS:
Bags and backpacks (practical bags only), toilet paper, garbage bags, batteries, portable chargers, flashlights, generators, candles, charging cables
COMMUNICATIONS:
Mobile phones with prepaid sims, walkie-talkies, radio transmitters, radios (battery or hand operated)
NEW TOYS:
Children’s toys which have not been unused.
WATER:
Bottled water, new drinking vessels, water storage containers (10 to 20 litres) are extremely useful
FOOD:
Canned food, dried food stuffs. Disposable cutlery and plates. Manual can openers. Please ensure that all food is not expired or opened.
CLOTHING ITEMS:
New bras, new underwear and new socks (all sizes needed)
