Cut pile is the most popular style of carpet and is created when the fibre loops are cut, hence the name. When they’re cut, the result is an upright pile and the ends of the carpet fibres are exposed. Dear Customer,

We sadly announce the retirement of our dear colleague, Neil Kerr, Sales Director, who has been an integral part of Phloor since the day he started with us twenty-seven years ago.

He has contributed, in no small way, to the success of our company over the years and his hard work, commitment and dedication will always be valued and remembered. We would not be the organisation we are today without him and he will be greatly missed.

While it’s a tough task to fill his shoes, we are handing over the reins to very capable hands. Pat Rooney has worked with us for the past twenty-three years and we are very happy to announce that, from January 1^st, he will be taking over from Neil. Pat will bring his many talents and wealth of experience to the role and we know that under his guidance, the Sales Team and, indeed, the company will continue to excel.

Sad times and exciting times, as we look back but also look forward.
