Without a doubt this quality carpet has been the most successful selling carpet in Ireland.
Both the yarn and carpet is made by Timzo in the Netherlands so the consistency of quality and supply has given Hercules the reputation as the go to heavy domestic economy loop pile.
Alternatively in these difficult times of increasing costs, we are delighted to offer the best value saxony in the market. Bounty is available on blue felt at a cheaper price than most loop piles. Available in six exciting shades BOUNTY is the perfect option for the price conscious retail stockist.
When the invasion of Ukraine began on the 24th February 2022 the entire world was shocked. Like many others, we felt helpless and thought there must be something we can do. And so, a phone call was made to Bart from Zabex Polska.
We were told that around Ireland there were collections of aid for Ukraine but the volume was so high that there was a difficulty in sorting, palletizing and loading it onto containers. As a distribution company with space in our warehouse we saw a clear role that we could facilitate logistical support. Our aim was simple – collect aid from all across Ireland, sort it, palletize it and send it to the front line in Ukraine where it would save lives. We initially thought we would collect enough to fill a truck-if we were lucky.
We could never have predicted the massive response shown by members of the public. We were completely overwhelmed with the large quantities of donations- so far we have sent seven trailers of aid to Ukraine through a network of like-minded groups. As our donations increased, our aid team expanded so that we had the suitable skills, knowledge and experience to help us succeed along with teams of volunteers who offered their help and assistance with sorting, itemizing and packing the aid to be sent over.
Within our first 6 weeks we have:
- Renovated our warehouse to contain a sorting facility for donations
- Liaised with Medical Help Ukraine to send urgently requested medical supplies.
- Sent over four vans of essential medical items.
- Sent seven 40 ft containers of aid over to Poland and into Ukraine with the help of Aid from Ireland, Hendricks Transport, Virginia Transport, BM transport and Zabex Polska.
- Collected over 200 pallets of public donations.
- Liaised with organisations on the ground in Poland and in the Ukraine providing humanitarian aid to take donations of non-medical items.
- Visited Przemyśl and decided we need to continue this work
Two weeks ago, three of our managers visited our partner site in Przemyśl, Poland. A huge thanks to Tommy Byrne from Aid from Ireland showing us the vital work that is being done on the ground over there and the incredible work of the logistics coming in and out of Ukraine.
We are in awe of the teams over there and we feel so privileged to have met them. We saw the need for this aid to continue going into Ukraine due to the issues with supply chains within Ukraine and the lack of access to food and other necessary items.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible support shown by our staff and the public. Our faith in humanity has been restored as we have seen the passion, generosity and willingness to help from everyone in Ireland. It is clear that we have to continue this work for as long as we can and we hope that you join us in our journey.
Our heartfelt thanks,
The Phloor Team.
WE STAND WITH UKRAINE
As the invasion of Ukraine has unfolded we have all seen the horrific scenes and the impact it is having on the people of Ukraine. Millions of people have been displaced and have had their homes and towns destroyed. While the humanitarian needs are huge at the minute, they most likely will increase.
Phloor Ltd. stands with Ukraine and we want to do everything we can to help. We are working closely with Aid from Ireland to deliver supplies into the heart of Ukraine. People in crisis areas urgently need humanitarian aid, however, usual supply chains are currently unavailable or in short supply. People are unable to access food, medicine and other humanitarian assistance. There is full-scale warfare in many areas, making movements difficult, dangerous or simply impossible, however, we have been lucky enough to link up with incredible groups who organise runner vans. This means we are able to get into the most affected areas where our aid will have a significant impact. We are extremely grateful for the links we have established as they have enabled us to continue to provide aid where it is most needed.
Two weeks ago, three of our managers visited our partner site in Przemysl at the Ukrainian border and it was clear that we needed to step up our response in providing essential food items to people who have been caught up in, or forced to flee the war. Starvation has become a weapon. People are unable to access food, therefore, we are starting a drive to gather donations as quickly as possible as we can get the items into badly affected areas within 7-10 days.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
- Personal donations of items of food, medical and other donations can be dropped off to our warehouse. Please give us a 24 hours warning if you are dropping in.

At Phloor, we’re passionate about offering the best flooring to our customers. Have you ever wondered how Phloor delivers it’s orders to your local retailer? Take a look at the journey of a cut length order through our warehouse. We care for your order from the moment you select your product all the way to dispatch and delivery.
Firstly, a retailer will select one of the many products displayed in the Phloor Showroom. The order is then processed by a member of our friendly sales office team, ensuring all details of the order are correct before distribution occurs.
We have two warehouses in Park West, Unit 2 Park West Road, and Unit 8 Heeney Avenue. Unit 2 is used to house all flooring rolls. When processing an order, a Phloor team member will take the selected flooring roll from Unit 2. The roll will then be transferred to Unit 8, which houses our cutting machine.
Once the roll arrives at Unit 8, it will be checked in before being loaded into the cutting machine. A member of our skilled operating team will then process the cutting order through our cutting machine. The roll is then cut, poled, wrapped and labelled.
The order then travels along our travellator and is dropped into the correct bin for dispatch. Lastly, the order is loaded onto one of our delivery trucks and delivered to the specified retailer.
Are you a flooring retailer? Find out more about our floor ranges and designs by contacting a Phloor team member today! Or call into our newly renovated showroom and browse our designs in person!

A majority of people’s time in 2021 was spent at home, and it must’ve got people thinking about their flooring. The last year has been an incredibly busy one for Phloor, and we’ve been thankful to have the continued support of our customers, old and new, throughout the pandemic and the last 12 months.

DARWIN
Carpet trends are always evolving, but over the past year, three carpet styles in particular have been Phloor customer favourites:
The top seller of 2021, the Darwin carpet features a hexagonal design and is available in an elegant balance of colours. The repeated pattern makes it an excellent statement carpet for stairs and hallways, and its competitive value for money means the Darwin is a popular choice for Phloor customers.

AZTEC
This tufted carpet that looks woven, giving that authentic bohemian feel without compromising on quality. With the herringbone design trending in the fashion world over 2021, the Aztec design has become increasingly popular for customers.
A heavy, high-quality carpet, the Aztec design has been best-selling in colours Chrome, Taupe and Coir.

PARAMOUNT
An incredibly soft appearing carpet, the Paramount design is a luxury 10th gauge twist carpet, with beautiful visual effects to give that soft-to-the-touch appearance. The Paramount carpet has become so popular over 2021, likely owed to its’ affordable nature and durability – with the carpet suited for heavy domestic locations and medium contract.

The team at Phloor are already predicting 2022’s carpet trends, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled on the Phloor website for new products in the New Year. Phloor will be closing for Christmas on the 24th December until 4th January 2022, to give our staff a well-deserved break to spend with family and friends.
A big Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year from the whole team here at Phloor! We wish all our visitors a safe and fun Christmas with loved ones, and we can’t wait to work together in the New Year.
