Our New ePOD System

Over the last few years Phloor Ltd has been the market leader in the flooring industry. We have been developing and testing more efficient ways to further improve our customer service. Our administration, transport and warehouse teams led by Grainne Kelly, have spent hundreds of hours developing and testing our new ePOD system (Electronic Proof of Delivery System).

Since it’s launch in March 2021 we have seen a significant reduction in our paper usage across all departments. Our drivers no longer rely on paper dockets as they use a simple app on their phones to process all deliveries.

Customers are now provided with an estimated time of delivery, a detailed list of their order, along with a tracking link which enables customers to view the estimated distance our driver is from the chosen delivery location.

Using the ePOD System, provided by POD Father ltd, details of all deliveries are now automatically transferred to our accounts department along with all digitally captured signatures and any relevant images. Our sales office team also have access to live delivery reports as our drivers progress through the day.

At Phloor, our whole ethos has been to improve customer service, reduce our carbon footprint, and eliminate waste where possible. We continue to develop services to enhance our customer experience and to source new and exciting products which are even more environmentally friendly.
